After receiving the septic system design, I solicited bids for installation from three contractors. I asked each contractor to review the septic system design and let me know if a gravity fill system was possible. I asked each to give me two prices, one for a two tank with pump system and a second for a gravity fill system.

The first contractor told me over the phone that I would need a two tank system and the gravity fill system was not possible. I'm not sure if he visited the site.

The second contractor, after reviewing the plan, asked me to meet him at the site. While at the site he stated that a gravity fill system would save me a few hundred dollars and that he would email me a bid. When I received the bid, it was only for the two tank system and there was no mention of the possibility of a gravity fill system.

You were the third contractor. You immediately reviewed the design I emailed you and visited the site that day. You took measurements, noted elevations, marked off the field, and that night you called me to let me know you thought a gravity fill system was possible. You made no promises, stating that the inspector could go either way. You also submitted a bid that gave two prices, one for the two tank system and one for the gravity fill system. And the savings were more than just a few hundred dollars.

So I want to thank you for your honesty, professionalism and work ethic. You responded quickly and did an excellent job. And you took the extra steps to see if a gravity fill system was possible.

We had a well problem. Jack Donnelly Construction dug the hole, removed the pump, and back filled. All went great. Would definitely hire again.
